I love this pair of frames. I am convinced that with these glasses my IQ is 50 points higher. They were purchased at Fabulous Fanny's in East Village. If you're looking for a sweet selection of vintage, vintage-inspired, and new old stock frames, you can't go wrong with Fab Fanny's. Can't wait to go again.

Reminder: I'm doing a giveaway for an Elizabeth and James tee. You still have until this Thursday, so go ahead and submit a comment in the previous post!
they are adorable.!

cute glasses!! I rmb fabulous fanny's..loads of glasses..very overwhelming haha. Glasses look really cute on you!

i think i have a problem. i own three different pairs of nerd glasses, none of which are my prescription. but oh, i love them.

You look adorable in those! I really wanted vintage frames, but couldn't find any reasonably priced. Ended up with big nerd ones instead.

Adorable glasses :D & I love your outfit!

the frames are so chic and add a great quirk to your look

such nice glasses :) and i love love love that duffle coat.

gahh they're amazing. You make me want to need glasses. I've been coveting the similar ray-ban sunglasses for an age. Looking gorgeous :)

Wow !
Incredible style !
Nice to meet u ;)

Those glasses fit your face perfectly!! They are wonderful, you should wear them all the time! So cute! I love your blue coat and the way you paired it with black and cognac :)

hey! thanks for visiting my blog :) i love your style. it's got a bit of vintage, but it isn't too heavy or try-hard like some others out there.

haha so i asked you about ontd_ff because i saw that magdalena picture from VP and you titled it "werking", which looks like something that would come out of there :) i'm a part of the community and i visit quite often because it's so amusing, as you've said too.

Phew, I'm finally back from a rather torturous week of practicals and exams. Last night I was able to catch up on sleep and it was fantastic. I LOVE YOU SLEEP. Talking about things I love, I'm really loving this Elizabeth and James deconstructed tee! Annnnd thanks to chickdowntown.com (they also have a droolworthy selection of Jill Stuart, Rag & Bone, and Current-Elliot denim), I'll be giving this shirt away to one of my lucky readers. All you have to do is leave a comment answering these 2 questions:

- Name a song that has either "Elizabeth" or "James" in the lyrics

- How would you style an outfit with this tee?

Please include some contact info so I can get in touch with you if selected. You can also email me your email address if you desire. No international shipping! A winner will be selected based on best response Thursday, June 18th (1 week from now).

Congrats to Lindsey! Kudos for her Camera Obscura mention and the cute outfit she put together.

1. Elizabeth, I Love You by Michael Jackson

2. I would wear this with leggings and flip flops and kooky jewelry!

1. "James" by the Bangles
2. Definitely for a casual day with jeans (or capris if it's hot) and cute sandals.

1. The Mystery Jets - Half in Love with Elizabeth
2. I'd team this tee with a pair of black shredded jeans, nine west gladiator wedge sandals & lots of chunky rings.

1. Goodnight, Elizabeth - Counting Crows
2. I'd wear the tee with a pair of denim boyfriend shorts (Current Elliot has a super cute rolled up pair), and flat sandals, and bunch of layered chains and an assortment of rings, mk style. heheheh

for some reason my computer isn't letting me paste text into this box so i can't paste the song link!! :/

oo you're coming to hk!! thats great, although the rain right now is not the least bit fun. well of course i'd recommend the good shopping places like lane crawford (the one in IFC is my favourite but the Pacific Place one is a close second), OnPedder, PedderRed, Giordano Concepts and Izzue/I.T.
Places to sit and people watch? That's a little hard in hk..since everything is basically in doors and there's not really anywhere to street watch but strolling through central or tsim sha tsui you tend to see some pretty stylish people but i guess they're just everywhere haha. Oh and tea! High tea! Srsly one of my most favourite things ever to do and I highly suggest Palace IFC (in IFC Mall) right next to the cinema. It's not tooo pricey like hotel pricey but its definitely hotel quality and so so so so good. That's also a good place to people watch if you sit towards the outside. They have these teas by Mariage Frères that is soooo good.

okay I think this is quite an essay of a comment so lemme know if there's more that you wanna know! Where are you going to be staying?? And how long are you going to be here for??? Exciting!!!

"james brown is dead" by L.A.Style

I would wear the tee on its own, with my biker boots and with my hair fluffed up (as usual) but with a black bow in my hair (the bow is pretty big)black nail polish and a black clutch, if the tee is too short I would wear it with biker shorts and platform heels

this shirt would have endless possibilities in my closet. right now, i would wear it by itself with a layer of my various long necklaces, any pair of shoes i own, my sunnies and maybe a hat, [a beanie, trilby, fedora, or bowler] depending on my mood. in the evening i would throw my leather motorcycle jacket or boyfriend blazer over it. i would wear my docs, winklepickers, wedge boots, wellies, sandals, platforms, or strappy heels with this. i would wear it with my black torn knee skinny jeans. i would wear it with a mini bandage skirt, or a longer pencil skirt. i would wear it with my silver snake wrap bracelet. this is a wardrobe staple!!!

oh, i found a plethora of songs, but i went with this one:

mystery jets - half in love with elizabeth

I made this necklace a little while back and it's just been sitting on my work desk collecting dust. I've actually made a bunch of stuff and all of it has just been collecting dust, and, really, it makes me a little sad. What do I do with all these items? Throw them all in one big box? Wear them every blue mooon? Dust them off every so often and take photos of them (psshh)? So when my dear friend (she recently started blogging, so stop by and say hi!) said she had been searching for a necklace just like it, I said, "Take it!!" So I wrapped the necklace up and topped off the box with a grosgrain ribbon. This made me ultra happy. So I've decided I will start posting projects I've been working on / finished that I'd like to give away. It can range anywhere from headbands, garments, accessories, whatever my hands are making at the moment. It'll be a learning experience for me and a reader may even like it enough to wear it! Win-win. Keep your eyes peeled, there will be some major making going on here in thsi space. Design for all x.
This is a fantastic idea! Now we will have the opportunity to wear some of your fabulous creations!

I love all the stuff you do! so I hope to get something!

After seeing many iterations of fringe leggings online, in stores, and on people, I've been wanting to make myself a pair, except I'm not a big fan of leggings, so I decided to purchase some fringe and sew it onto some opaque black tights instead. Here there are.

I'm thinking of trying this with different color tights and contrasting it with funky colored fringe (like mustard yellow tights and white fringe, gray tights with white fringe, for example). Anyway, these are ultra comfy and I've never had so much swooshing around whilst walking. Swoosh swoosh swoosh!

i love it! you did a great job.

They look gorgeous!
Amazing job on them!

I bought some fringing the other day.... haven't got around to using it. Thinking maybe using it on purple. But that may look awful We'll see...

haha, it's such an inspirating post!

holy hotness you are a genius.
fringing makes my heart happy.
I want to make swooshy noises.

x

(my goodness I was gonna do that :P) love how it turned out Soffiifififia, and I'm sure with your long legs wearing them will be even more effective. purrrfect.

omg i love these!!!!!! just looking at them make me want to twirl around and run everywhere with the wind blowing through the fringe hahaha

sophiaaaa yet another GENIUS diy! sooo cute how it turned out :D

Amazing DIY!

Spring makes me break out in hives, but it doesn't make Spring any less pretty to me.

Also, apologies for the lack of posts this week. My desk is cluttered with projects and my walls filled with pictures and ideas. Now, I just need to find the time!

Lastly, I'm making a few rhinestone necklaces for friends and fellow bloggers. I barely wear any of the stuff I make and I don't want any of it to collect dust, so I have a handful of lovely ladies in mind to send out little packages to. Keep your eyes peeled :o)
i really need flats. All I wear are heels and i need some casual wear! Yours are very cute :)

oh my. oh my oh my. eyes peeled. such a sweet photo, are those petals actually part of your shoes?? sounds like such a stupid question...

I didn´t get this pic until I realised that those are feet xDD
