NYC is unusually cold this summer, which could be why I'm thinking of lace more frequently than the usual sheer and silky summer fabrics. Lace is a mainstay, but for the past few seasons, it looks younger and fresher with peek-a-boo thigh-skimming and fiery red numbers. Pair with a pair of loafers for day and stilettos for evening.
